Spencer Ackermans posts used to be the annoying exception, that interrupted quite readable stuff by Noah Shachtman and some others. But that blog has been co-opted a fair while ago, just like DT, Noahs earlier effort, and seems to be primarily run by a bunch of adolescents these days. Though I would prefer the outright absurd stuff to their mil-porn cheerleading episodes or anything written by that hack David Axe. Dont bother visiting the site anymore now.
