I don't really think the EU is a "free-trade zone." Were it, they wouldn't need so many rules and regulations. The latter are profound evidence of it not being "free." Whether the EU is good or not (or, more specifically, good for England) needs to start with that reality, not the BS that it is about "free trade."
Two words that are often useedtotgether in a particular order form a new noun of thier own, with its own definition.
Laymen may then look at the noun / term and apply interpret it wrongly by applying a combination of the individual words' definitions, but that doesn't change the fact that the two-word noun has a definition of its own.
